What changes from one order to another is not the country but the product: some pieces arrive ready to use, some need minor assembly, and larger orders can be split across several boxes or deliveries. Dining chairs usually need only four screws per chair with the Allen key included, while larger lounge-chair sets and some multi-item orders may arrive in more than one parcel.
What happens after you place an order?
After checkout, the order is confirmed, inspected, boxed and dispatched within 1–2 working days. Tracking details are emailed as soon as the parcel leaves, and the standard service is weekday DPD delivery rather than weekend delivery.

Which products need assembly, and which arrive ready to use?
The quickest answer is simple: dining chairs need minor assembly, tall lounge-chair sets need straightforward home assembly, chaise longues arrive ready to use, and assembly for office chairs and lamps is not published on the site. If a detail is not published on the product page, check that page or ask support before ordering.
For lounge seating, a standard leather lounge chair with ottoman is sold at €799–€999 across 26 listings, measures 87 × 85 × 84 cm (W × D × H), has a seat height of 42 cm, includes an ottoman of 64 × 54 × 44 cm, uses 100% aniline leather on every part, and ships in two cartons: 69 × 69 × 36 cm, about 28 kg, and 69 × 69 × 38 cm, about 11 kg.
A clear example is the Charles Eames Lounge Chair And Ottoman Replica – Tan Brown – Walnut Wood – Chrome Base: €889, 87 x 85 x 84 cm (W x L x H).
If you want a chair-only version, the published range is €549–€569 across 4 listings, with the same 87 × 85 × 84 cm overall size and 42 cm seat height. One listed example is Eames Style Lounge Chair Only Rose Wood Normal Base –Tan Brown: €549, 87 x 85 x 84 cm (W x L x H). If you need the footstool alone, the matching ottoman is €275 across 3 listings; one example is Classic Charles Eames Lounge Ottoman Replica Black Leather Rose Wood: €275, 64 x 54 x 44 cm (W x L x H).
Tall lounge-chair sets are the largest self-assembly option. The published range is €949–€1199 across 6 listings, overall 84 × 85 × 89 cm (W × D × H), seat height 42 cm, ottoman 66 × 55 × 43 cm, and with the ottoman in front the set takes about 150 cm of depth. For dining spaces, moulded-shell and padded PU sets are the main minor-assembly orders. Chaise longues are the easiest large pieces from an assembly point of view. The published range is €639–€849 across 4 listings, overall 56 × 160 × 69 cm (W × D × H), and the product page states that no assembly is required. An example is Chaise Longue LC4 Pony Skin Le Corbusier Chair: €849, 56 x 160 x 69 cm (W x L x H).
How does furniture delivery work by product type?
The practical differences are best understood by product type: parcel count, assembly and packaging vary far more than the destination country. The table below compares the shop’s own ranges and the published delivery and assembly information for each.
| Category | Models | Price range | Example size | How it arrives | Assembly |

What should you check before ordering?
The decisive checks are size, parcel handling, assembly level, upholstery type and return conditions. If you know those five points before checkout, there are very few delivery surprises left.
First, check dimensions carefully. A standard lounge-chair set is 87 × 85 × 84 cm, while a tall set is 84 × 85 × 89 cm and needs about 150 cm of depth with the ottoman in front.
If you are choosing between finishes, examples include the Classic Charles Eames Lounge Chair And Ottoman Replica Black Leather – Ebony Ash Wood Black: €809, 87 x 85 x 84 cm (W x L x H), the Classic Charles Eames Lounge Chair And Ottoman Replica Tan Brown Leather – Walnut Wood Normal Base: €859, 87 x 85 x 84 cm (W x L x H), and the Premium Eames Lounge Chair And Ottoman Replica Waxy Camel Polished Leather Walnut Wood: €999, 87 x 85 x 84 cm (W x L x H).
Second, check material wording. Every lounge chair and ottoman version uses 100% aniline leather on every part. Dining-chair PU sets use PU leather pads on a moulded shell. Office-chair leather models use genuine leather on the seating surfaces and front of the backrest, with matching leather on the underside and outer back. If material choice matters, the guides on Aniline Leather: What It Is and How to Care for It and Walnut Veneer Furniture: Look, Care and Solid Wood help with that part of the decision.
Third, check whether the item is a reproduction or a house design. Product pages state that the reproduced pieces are inspired by mid-century designs and are not made by or affiliated with the original licence holders. The D-series mesh chairs are the shop’s own designs. What does delivery cost, and what happens with returns or damage?
Delivery to the 25 checkout countries costs €0, with no minimum order value, and the price shown is the final price paid for those countries. If you change your mind, you have 14 days from delivery to request a return and the refund is made minus a €40 return fee for DPD collection.
Items must be unused and in their original packaging, and nothing should be sent back without return authorisation from support@decomica.com. This is why keeping the original boxes matters, especially for larger pieces such as lounge-chair sets that may have arrived in two cartons or several flat-packed boxes.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit or wrong, collection is free. DPD collects it from the customer’s door, and the outcome is a replacement or a full refund. Report the issue within 14 days and include a few photos. There is also a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects on every piece, with claims handled by email using the order number, a short description and photos.

What are the most common ordering mistakes?
The most common mistakes are ordering by photo instead of by measurements, assuming every piece arrives assembled, and discarding the packaging too early. All three are easy to avoid if you read the size, parcel and returns details before buying.
Mistake one is overlooking footprint. A tall lounge-chair set may fit your style but still need about 150 cm of depth with the ottoman placed in front. Mistake two is assuming a dining-chair set is ready straight out of the box; in fact each chair needs four screws fitted to the legs. Mistake three is throwing away cartons before the 14-day return window has passed, even though returns must be repacked in the original packaging.
Another mistake is assuming every country in Europe is offered at checkout. Bulgaria, Greece, Malta and Cyprus are not offered at checkout and customers there should email support@decomica.com before ordering. For the 25 checkout countries, though, the published policy is uniform: free tracked delivery, dispatch in 1–2 working days, arrival typically in 6–9 working days, a 14-day return window, and a 2-year warranty.

Frequently asked questions
Do all 25 countries get the same delivery terms?
Yes. The published service is the same across the 25 checkout countries: free tracked DPD delivery, dispatch within 1–2 working days, and delivery typically within 6–9 working days door to door. Weekend delivery is not part of the standard service.
Will my order arrive in one box?
Not always. Most single-product orders ship in one package, but larger items may arrive in several boxes. A lounge chair and ottoman set typically ships in two packages, and multi-item orders may be split across deliveries even when dispatched together.
Is assembly included in the delivery service?
Assembly as an in-home service is not published. The standard service is tracked DPD delivery to the delivery address. Dining chairs need minor assembly, tall lounge-chair sets take 15–20 minutes with the included tool, and the published chaise longue page says no assembly is required.
What if the item arrives damaged or I want to send it back?
If the item is faulty, damaged in transit or wrong, DPD collects it free from your door and the shop sends a replacement or a full refund. If you simply change your mind, you have 14 days from delivery to request a return and the refund is made minus a €40 collection fee.
Decomica sells reproductions inspired by mid-century designs, identified as such on every product page; they are not made, licensed or endorsed by the original manufacturers or licence holders. The D-series office chairs are Decomica’s own designs.
