You have to assemble the chair by yourself, it does come with all that you need, screws and a torx screwdriver. The chair is leather only on some parts others parts are imitation of leather. Great value. There are lots of Eames replicas on the market and I did my research before buying. For those that are fussy, the lever arm ball finial is steel but the oval clamp handle and the two circular silver caps on the ends of the frame under the seat are plastic but are good quality. All other silver components are steel and well finished (much smoother than on another Eames copy we have). The leather work looks pristine and has a slightly matt finish. I expect this will start to shine in use. The customer service was excellent. All told, I’m very happy and would buy again.
