After meticulous search I ended up with the chair from Decomica, they are in the EU, – no tax or custom charges for other EU members, and shipping is included! The chair contains tremendous value, 6 pieces diecast and polished aluminum parts, real top grain leather, very nice 8 layers (as I counted at least) ash (at least at the top) plywood panels. A lot of work to manufacture. Opposed to the Barcelona chair (I also have), it is comfortable even for long time, not just to sit down for a while. Very good price for an Eames lounge chair replica. The only slight caveat I found was, 2- or 3 armrest screw did not cooperate with me, but adding a drop of walnut oil (the only lube I had in my rented condo) the resistant screw could turn sufficiently. Fast delivery from Ireland. I likely will purchase other iconic pieces from them (e.g. Eames office chair), although I would prefer to see more colors offered.

Self assembly instructions ok, all components on a blisterpack so no chance of losing them and also supplied with a set of split ring pliers just to fit one small item, nice attention.
An observation is that you have to be ‘brave’ when assembling the back and seat of the chair. I had to gently but ‘very firmly’ align and push together the parts, at first it looks like the wood/brackets wont fit but once the bolts are part threaded, gently tightening in turn pulls the parts together well.
Very impressed with everything, been a lifelong desire to own an ‘Eames’, whilst this is a replica I’d challenge anyone but an expert to tell the difference to a genuine one.

The chair itself looks absolutely amazing, the walnut veneer is very thick and finished in the perfect semi-gloss clearcoat. All the edges are polished endlook amazing. I was a bit hesitant about the materials used when I ordered, but having taken a look at all the cushions I can confirm that is is real leather everywhere.
I originally placed the chair in the corner where my old chair was, but ended up reaorganizing my living room to give it a prominent place….. It’s an eames design piece, so you have to give it a nice spot.
