This white Barcelona chair is a Barcelona chair in white quilted leather on a one-piece, mirror-polished stainless-steel frame, delivered free to 25 countries with a 2-year warranty and 14-day returns.
The Barcelona chair white is our crisp, gallery-ready take on the iconic Barcelona chair designed by Mies van der Rohe for the 1929 Barcelona Pavilion. This reproduction pairs hand-buttoned, quilted white leather cushions with a mirror-polished stainless-steel X-frame, giving you a clean modernist statement piece that suits bright living rooms, studios and reception areas alike.
Why choose the Decomica Barcelona chair white
Every Barcelona chair white we ship is built to mirror the proportions of the original pavilion lounge chair, with a seamless one-piece X-frame and tufted cushions that hold their shape. The bright white leather catches the light beautifully against the polished steel, while the high-resilient foam keeps the seat supportive day after day. It is a faithful, comfortable interpretation of a design that has defined modern interiors for almost a century.
Key features
- Quilted, hand-buttoned cushions in premium white leather for a clean, contemporary look
- Mirror-polished stainless-steel X-frame, hand-ground and buffed to a flawless finish
- Fire-retardant, high-resilient urethane foam for lasting seating comfort and shape retention
- One-piece frame with easy-fit cushions, faithful to Mies van der Rohe’s pavilion lounge chair proportions
We have specialised in mid-century replicas for years, and that hands-on experience shows in every Barcelona chair white that leaves our warehouse. Our own team inspects each piece before dispatch: we check the white leather for even tufting and clean stitching, run our hands along the steel X-frame to confirm a mirror finish free of marks, and make sure the cushions seat and fasten correctly. Nothing ships until it meets the standard we would expect in our own homes.

White Barcelona chair: frequently asked questions
Is the leather on this white Barcelona chair genuine?
The surfaces you sit on and lean against are genuine leather; the parts you do not touch, such as the backs and undersides of the cushions, are a colour-matched PU leather, so the chair looks uniform from every side.
What are the dimensions?
The chair measures 75 × 76 × 75 cm (width × depth × height) with a 43 cm seat height.
What is the frame made of?
A one-piece stainless-steel frame, hand-ground and polished to a mirror finish. Unlike chromed mild steel, it does not rust when the surface is scratched.
Does it need assembling?
No. The frame arrives in one piece, and the cushions fit onto it in minutes, with no tools needed.
Is the ottoman included?
No, this listing is the chair on its own. The matching ottoman (60 × 55 × 40 cm) is sold separately, and chair-and-ottoman sets are in the Barcelona collection.
How do I care for the leather and the frame?
Wipe the leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth and use a leather care product now and then; polish the steel frame with a dry microfibre cloth.
Who designed the Barcelona chair?
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich designed it in 1929 for the German Pavilion at the Barcelona International Exposition. It is an independent reproduction and is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by the licence holders, which is why it costs a fraction of a licensed original.
How is this white Barcelona chair delivered?
Delivery is free and tracked to the EU (except Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Romania), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, and normally takes 5 to 8 working days. For the UK, Switzerland and Norway, any import VAT or customs charges are paid by the recipient.
What warranty and returns come with this white Barcelona chair?
Every product carries a 2-year warranty, and you have 14 days from delivery to return it if it is not right for you.

Quality product with great service and price.. I ordered a Leather Barcelona chair with Ottoman along with an Eileen Grey side table. The order was shipped free of charge to Portugal and arrived in perfect condition within 10 days. All pieces are very well made, better quality and finish than I have seen on similar reproductions. I cannot fault either the furniture or the service. Price was also very competitive compared to similar in Spain and Portugal. Highly recommended.
