Eames DAW Replica Black

This Eames DAW replica is a DAW-style dining armchair with a moulded shell, integrated armrests and wooden dowel legs, delivered free to 25 countries with a 2-year warranty and 14-day returns.

The Decomica eames daw replica black is a faithful reproduction of the 1948 moulded armchair that helped define mid-century dining, pairing a deep black ABS shell with warm solid beech dowel legs. Inspired by the same design language as the celebrated Eames Aluminium Group, this version brings timeless silhouette and everyday durability to homes, studios and offices alike.

Why choose the Decomica eames daw replica black

This black DAW chair is built for daily living. The contoured shell supports your back through long dinners and work sessions, while the lacquered black finish resists fading and wipes clean in seconds. Sitting on four splayed beech legs joined by a high-grade steel under-frame, the eames daw replica black is light enough to move yet stable enough for constant use, making it an easy match for almost any colour palette.

Key features

• Deep matte black injection-moulded ABS seat shell with a smooth, fade-resistant UV-coated finish.
• Solid natural beech dowel legs that contrast beautifully against the black shell for a true mid-century look.
• Integrated armrests and a high-grade lacquered steel cross-frame for extra rigidity and support.

We have specialised in mid-century reproductions for years, and every eames daw replica black is hand-inspected by our own team before it leaves our warehouse. We check the evenness of the black lacquer, the seating of the beech legs in the steel frame and the tightness of every fixing point, so the chair that arrives at your door is one we would happily place in our own dining room.

Eames DAW replica: frequently asked questions

What is the chair made of?

The chair has an injection-moulded ABS plastic shell with a UV coating that resists fading, on solid beech dowel legs with a lacquered steel frame. The DAW shell has integrated armrests.

Does the chair need assembling?

Only a little: the shell fixes to its legs with four screws, and an Allen key is included.

How do I clean the chair?

Wipe the shell with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild soap; the smooth surface resists everyday stains. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

How is the chair delivered?

Delivery is free and tracked to the EU (except Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Romania), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, and normally takes 5 to 8 working days. For the UK, Switzerland and Norway, any import VAT or customs charges are paid by the recipient.

What warranty and returns do I get?

Every product carries a 2-year warranty, and you have 14 days from delivery to return it if it is not right for you.

Is it an original Eames DAW chair?

No. The DAW was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1950. It is an independent reproduction and is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by the licence holders, which is why it costs a fraction of a licensed original.
