This Eames plywood chair replica is an LCW-style lounge chair in five-piece moulded plywood with a ash finish, delivered free to 25 countries with a 2-year warranty and 14-day returns.
The Decomica eames plywood chair replica in warm ashwood reimagines one of the most celebrated designs in furniture history, the Eames LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) created by Charles and Ray Eames and famously hailed by Time magazine as the best design of the 20th century. Like the wider catalogue documented in the Eames Aluminium Group story, the LCW pioneered moulded plywood, using pressure-formed curves to create a low, sculptural seat that looks beautiful from every angle.
Why choose the Decomica eames plywood chair replica
Our ashwood eames plywood chair replica captures the gentle front-to-back curvature and floating backrest of the original, finished in a light, open ash grain that brings natural warmth to living rooms, bedrooms and reading nooks. The five moulded plywood sections are joined with chrome-plated steel and rubber shock mounts, giving the seat its signature flex and quiet comfort while keeping the silhouette light and unmistakably mid-century.
Key features
- Five-piece moulded ashwood plywood construction with a light, open natural grain
- Pressure-formed curves that flex with you, supported by rubber shock mounts
- Chrome-plated steel spine that links the seat and backrest for a floating look
- Low-profile, lightweight ash silhouette that suits living rooms, bedrooms and studies
We have specialised in mid-century plywood and lounge replicas for years, and every eames plywood chair replica is inspected by our own team before it leaves the warehouse. We check the ashwood veneer for an even, blemish-free grain, test that the shock mounts are seated correctly, and make sure the chrome spine is true and the chair sits flat and stable. That hands-on, firsthand quality control is why our customers trust the finish, the flex and the feel of every chair we dispatch.

Eames plywood chair replica: frequently asked questions
What is the LCW chair made of?
Five pieces of pressure-moulded plywood with a ash finish, joined by a chrome-plated steel spine, with rubber shock mounts that flex slightly as you sit.
How do I care for the plywood?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe marks with a slightly damp one; keep the chair out of strong direct sunlight and away from radiators so the veneer keeps its colour.
How is the chair delivered?
Delivery is free and tracked to the EU (except Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Romania), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, and normally takes 5 to 8 working days. For the UK, Switzerland and Norway, any import VAT or customs charges are paid by the recipient.
What warranty and returns do I get?
Every product carries a 2-year warranty, and you have 14 days from delivery to return it if it is not right for you.
Is it an original Eames LCW?
No. The LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946. It is an independent reproduction and is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by the licence holders, which is why it costs a fraction of a licensed original.
Still deciding? Read our guide to the Eames LCW chair replica and our answer to how comfortable the LCW is before you order.
Decomica products are high-quality reproductions inspired by iconic mid-century designs; they are not manufactured by or affiliated with the original licence holders.

Great replica of the original. The quality of the chair is great, though I think the plywood is a bit thicker than the original. It took only one week to arrive here in Portugal so very happy with the whole process. Thanks!

Amazed by quality. I used to work in furniture shop and am amazed by the quality of the chair for the price, it is obviously not exactly the same and the fittings are the obvious clues but still quite unbelievable at this price. And the service was very fast and easy, a confirmation email would have been great but otherwise all good.

Beautiful chair indistinguishable from real.. At first, we were a bit suspicious about the website, whether it was genuine, if the product would be nice, and if there would be any extra charges for shipping the chair to Belgium. But the opposite was true. Beautiful chair, very comfortable. It was delivered super quickly. No comments or complaints. Only compliments
