This Eames EA117 office chair replica comes in camel leather, with genuine aniline leather on the seat and the front of the backrest, and is delivered free to 25 countries.
The Eames EA117 office chair camel is our low-back, ribbed (thin-pad) take on one of the most celebrated seats from the Eames Aluminium Group, first introduced in the late 1950s. Upholstered in warm camel leather over a polished, hand-buffed aluminium frame, this Decomica reproduction brings genuine mid-century character to boardrooms, studios and home offices alike.
Why choose the Decomica Eames EA117 office chair camel
The camel leather sits beautifully against the mirror-finished aluminium, giving you a chair that looks as good in a video call as it does in a meeting room. The low back keeps sightlines clean across a desk or conference table, while the slim ribbed pad delivers all-day comfort without the bulk of a soft-pad cushion. It is a faithful, hard-wearing alternative to the original at a fraction of the price.
Key features
- Warm camel leather upholstery, hand-stitched into the signature low-back ribbed (thin-pad) panels.
- Five-star base and frame in chromed aluminium, hand-buffed to a bright mirror finish.
- Height-adjustable gas lift with a 360-degree swivel and lockable tilt mechanism.
- Five smooth-rolling chrome-top casters and fire-retardant, high-resilience foam beneath the camel leather.
We have specialised in mid-century replicas for years, and every Eames EA117 office chair camel leaves our workshop only after our own team has inspected it by hand. We check the camel leather grade and stitching, run our fingers along the aluminium frame for a flawless mirror finish, and test the swivel, gas lift and tilt through their full range before the chair is boxed for dispatch.

Eames EA117 office chair replica: frequently asked questions
Is the leather on this Eames EA117 office chair replica genuine?
The parts you sit on and lean against, the seat and the front of the backrest, are genuine aniline leather. The parts you do not touch, the outer back and the underside, are a colour-matched PU leather, so the chair looks uniform from every side.
Should I choose the low back or the high back?
This is the low back version of the Eames EA117. A low back (EA117/EA217) suits shorter sessions and gives a cleaner profile at the desk, while a high back (EA119/EA219) supports the upper back and shoulders during longer working days.
Can I get soft castors for wooden or tiled floors?
Yes. We fit soft, floor-friendly castors free of charge on request; just write it in the order notes at checkout, for example “please fit soft castors”.
How is this Eames EA117 office chair replica delivered?
Delivery is free and tracked to the EU (except Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Romania), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, and normally takes 5 to 8 working days. For the UK, Switzerland and Norway, any import VAT or customs charges are paid by the recipient.
What warranty and returns come with this Eames EA117 office chair replica?
Every chair carries a 2-year warranty, and you have 14 days from delivery to return it if it is not right for you.
Is the Eames EA117 made by Vitra or Herman Miller?
No. The Eames EA117 is an independent reproduction of the design. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Vitra or Herman Miller, which is why it costs a fraction of a licensed original.

Absolutely ok for the favourable price. In direct comparison with the original (I had both here), of course with a few compromises, but I am absolutely satisfied. Delivery also went smoothly and a question could be clarified in a very short time in the chat.

Superb customer service. Decomica is one of the rare internet sites that gives truly excellent customer service. The item I ordered arrived when I was told it would, and when there was a problem of damage caused perhaps by the transporter, Decomica immediately took on the case, communicating with me and seeking a solution. Whenever I wrote, I received an answer immediately, which is, alas, not always the case with online sites. Most impressive, Decomica followed up, writing to me to ask if I had received the replacement parts they had sent me. They were clearly and professionally following my order and after-sale situation. I was immensely impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism of Decomica. I will certainly order from the site again, and I have already recommended it to friends and professionals. Bravo for doing your work with great efficiency and competence. It has been a real pleasure to deal with Decomica.

Good prices and product. SHipped super quick and arrived well packed and easy to assemble. Chair is well made, though you can tell you get what you pay for as finishing is not as good the original which is to be expected of course. Mesh is a little tight for my taste making for a pretty stiff sitting experience. (i got the eames executive office chair) But overall satisfied with my purchase and would use Decomica again.
