This Eames EA117 office chair replica comes in dark brown leather, with genuine aniline leather on the seat and the front of the backrest, and is delivered free to 25 countries.
The Decomica Eames EA117 office chair dark brown is a faithful low-back reproduction of one of the most recognised seats from the mid-century era, the chair family known as the Eames Aluminium Group. Upholstered in supple dark brown leather with the signature ribbed sling and a mirror-polished aluminium frame, it brings quiet authority to a desk, a boardroom or a home study.
Why choose the Decomica Eames EA117 office chair dark brown
This low-back variant keeps the elegant proportions of the original while staying compact enough for everyday work. The warm dark brown leather develops character over time, the ribbed panels hug your back, and the chromed five-star base glides smoothly on its castors. It is an Eames EA117 office chair dark brown built to be used daily, not just admired.
Key features
- Genuine dark brown leather upholstery with the classic ribbed, sewn-panel sling for support and a refined look.
- Mirror-polished chromed aluminium frame and matching five-star base, hand-buffed for a flawless finish.
- Height-adjustable gas lift, a fixed-and-loose tilt mechanism and a smooth 360-degree swivel.
- High-resilience, fire-retardant foam cushioning that stays comfortable through a full working day.
We have specialised in mid-century replicas for many years, and every Eames EA117 office chair dark brown is inspected by our own team before dispatch. We check the leather grade and stitching on each ribbed panel, run our hands over the aluminium frame to confirm the mirror finish is free of marks, and test the swivel, tilt and gas-lift action so the chair arrives ready to use. That hands-on quality control is why our customers trust the pieces they receive.

Eames EA117 office chair replica: frequently asked questions
Is the leather on this Eames EA117 office chair replica genuine?
The parts you sit on and lean against, the seat and the front of the backrest, are genuine aniline leather. The parts you do not touch, the outer back and the underside, are a colour-matched PU leather, so the chair looks uniform from every side.
Should I choose the low back or the high back?
This is the low back version of the Eames EA117. A low back (EA117/EA217) suits shorter sessions and gives a cleaner profile at the desk, while a high back (EA119/EA219) supports the upper back and shoulders during longer working days.
Can I get soft castors for wooden or tiled floors?
Yes. We fit soft, floor-friendly castors free of charge on request; just write it in the order notes at checkout, for example “please fit soft castors”.
How is this Eames EA117 office chair replica delivered?
Delivery is free and tracked to the EU (except Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Romania), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, and normally takes 5 to 8 working days. For the UK, Switzerland and Norway, any import VAT or customs charges are paid by the recipient.
What warranty and returns come with this Eames EA117 office chair replica?
Every chair carries a 2-year warranty, and you have 14 days from delivery to return it if it is not right for you.
Is the Eames EA117 made by Vitra or Herman Miller?
No. The Eames EA117 is an independent reproduction of the design. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Vitra or Herman Miller, which is why it costs a fraction of a licensed original.
