This Eames EA119 office chair replica comes in dark brown leather, with genuine aniline leather on the seat and the front of the backrest, and is delivered free to 25 countries.
The Eames EA119 office chair shown here in dark-brown leather is the high-back, ribbed thin-pad version of the iconic Eames Aluminium Group — commanding presence with slim, elegant cushioning. Decomica’s Eames EA119 office chair replica pairs ribbed dark-brown leather with a polished-aluminium frame, delivering the original’s executive look at a fraction of the price.
Why choose the Decomica Eames EA119 office chair
We have specialised in mid-century replicas for years, and the high-back EA119 is our choice for an executive office that still feels light and elegant. Every chair is inspected by our own team before dispatch — we check the leather grade, the weld points on the aluminium frame and the action of the swivel and tilt — because on a high-back chair these details decide both comfort and longevity.
Key features
- High-back ribbed thin-pad cushioning in genuine dark-brown leather
- Polished chromed-aluminium frame and five-star base with a mirror finish
- Height-adjustable gas lift, 360° swivel and a lockable tilt mechanism
- High-resilience foam and smooth-rolling chrome-top castors
Comfort & who it’s for
The tall ribbed backrest supports the full length of your back without the bulk of a padded executive chair, making the EA119 ideal for directors’ offices, home studies and boardrooms that want presence and a clean mid-century silhouette in equal measure.

Eames EA119 office chair replica: frequently asked questions
Is the leather on this Eames EA119 office chair replica genuine?
The parts you sit on and lean against, the seat and the front of the backrest, are genuine aniline leather. The parts you do not touch, the outer back and the underside, are a colour-matched PU leather, so the chair looks uniform from every side.
Should I choose the low back or the high back?
This is the high back version of the Eames EA119. A low back (EA117/EA217) suits shorter sessions and gives a cleaner profile at the desk, while a high back (EA119/EA219) supports the upper back and shoulders during longer working days.
Can I get soft castors for wooden or tiled floors?
Yes. We fit soft, floor-friendly castors free of charge on request; just write it in the order notes at checkout, for example “please fit soft castors”.
How is this Eames EA119 office chair replica delivered?
Delivery is free and tracked to the EU (except Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Romania), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, and normally takes 5 to 8 working days. For the UK, Switzerland and Norway, any import VAT or customs charges are paid by the recipient.
What warranty and returns come with this Eames EA119 office chair replica?
Every chair carries a 2-year warranty, and you have 14 days from delivery to return it if it is not right for you.
Is the Eames EA119 made by Vitra or Herman Miller?
No. The Eames EA119 is an independent reproduction of the design. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Vitra or Herman Miller, which is why it costs a fraction of a licensed original.

Good chair that arrived relatively quickly. I have to admit that when I did not receive the promised shipment confirmation and was unable to create an account on the Decomica web site that I wondered if there was some truth to the relatively few negative reviews. But I got a quick response to my email asking for the status of my order with shipment information indicating that the parcel was just a few days away. I received the chair and it was easy to assemble. My only complaint is that the styrofoam had shed thousands of small pieces that where electrically charged and almost impossible to get rid of. Disposing the packaging took at least twice the time of assembly. If only Decomica had put the styrofoam inside plastic bags, I would have been totally happy.

beautiful chair. The chair is beautiful and seems as comfortable as my office chair (TBC, I’ve only been sitting on it for half a day). I would give 5 stars is there wasn’t a defective screw head (there are 6 screws to attach the chair arms). I could not use the provided Allen key and i had to use a plier to tighten it. Problem is fixed now, but still I have removed one star because of this
