Eames Soft Pad High Back EA219 Office Chair Replica – White Leather

This Eames soft pad office chair replica comes in white leather, with genuine aniline leather on the seat and the front of the backrest, and is delivered free to 25 countries.

The eames soft pad office chair white is our high-back EA219 replica, finished in supple white full-grain Italian leather over a polished aluminium frame. It belongs to the same lineage as the original Eames Aluminium Group seating that Charles and Ray Eames first developed in the late 1950s, marrying a lightweight structure with the plush comfort of soft-pad cushioning.

Why choose the Decomica eames soft pad office chair white

First introduced as the EA219 in 1969, this high-back executive design sits exactly where lightweight engineering meets genuine luxury. Our white-leather reproduction keeps that balance intact: a slim five-star chromed base, a smooth tilt-and-swivel mechanism and bright white upholstery that lifts any workspace, from a home study to a corporate boardroom. The crisp white leather pairs beautifully with the mirror-polished aluminium, giving you a clean, minimal silhouette that still feels inviting to sit in for hours.

Key features

• Soft-pad cushions wrapped in white full-grain Italian leather for a bright, executive look.
• Polished chromed aluminium five-star base with smooth-rolling castors.
• Adjustable tilt, height adjustment and a full 360-degree swivel.
• High-back profile with individually padded panels for genuine all-day support.

We have specialised in mid-century replicas for many years, and every eames soft pad office chair white leaves our workshop only after our own team has inspected it by hand. We check the grade and stitching of the white leather, test the integrity of the aluminium frame, and run the swivel, tilt and height adjustment through their full travel before the chair is carefully boxed for dispatch. That firsthand quality control is why we are confident standing behind every piece we ship.

Eames soft pad office chair replica: frequently asked questions

Is the leather on this Eames soft pad office chair replica genuine?

The parts you sit on and lean against, the seat and the front of the backrest, are genuine aniline leather. The parts you do not touch, the outer back and the underside, are a colour-matched PU leather, so the chair looks uniform from every side.

How does the tilt mechanism on the Eames EA219 work?

The seat and backrest tilt back together as one unit; the backrest angle is not adjusted separately. A tension knob sets the resistance to your weight, a lock holds the chair upright, and the chair has gas-lift height adjustment and a 360-degree swivel.

Can I get soft castors for wooden or tiled floors?

Yes. We fit soft, floor-friendly castors free of charge on request; just write it in the order notes at checkout, for example “please fit soft castors”.

How is this Eames soft pad office chair replica delivered?

Delivery is free and tracked to the EU (except Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Romania), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, and normally takes 5 to 8 working days. For the UK, Switzerland and Norway, any import VAT or customs charges are paid by the recipient.

What warranty and returns come with this Eames soft pad office chair replica?

Every chair carries a 2-year warranty, and you have 14 days from delivery to return it if it is not right for you.

Is the Eames EA219 made by Vitra or Herman Miller?

No. The Eames EA219 is an independent reproduction of the design. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Vitra or Herman Miller, which is why it costs a fraction of a licensed original.
